This song was originally written and performed in Swedish by a band called Den förlorade generationen (The Lost Generation). Now, since both Markus and I know these people, and because they thought it would be fun, we were asked to translate the song into Klingon and sing it at the release party celebrating their new CD »...En dag som idag« (»...A Day Like Today«). – We (of course) accepted the challenge, and subsequently had two days to memorize the text and melody. We fought bravely and actually sung the song (in front of audience) accompanied by the band. But it probably sounded terrible (at least no one ever said that it was good).

The next morning I woke up with the song in my head, and a few days later I knew it by heart without really trying.
